Blue Screen of Death (BSoD)
When you get this screen with lot of white text on a Blue background, is called as blue screen of death (BSoD or STOP Error), it is one the most dreaded PC problem you encounter. Many times the solution is as simple as just rebooting the PC. However the BSoD or STOP Error occurs due to various reasons such as hardware error, damaged software, corrupt DLL files etc. The solution to the BSoD or STOP Error depends on the actual reason behind it. The white text also provides the code to identify the problem & hence solve it as per required.
Missing DLL File
Dynamic-Link Library (DLL) files contains the information for your OS as on how to perform functions. Many times PC loses DLL files or they are damaged and when PC cannot read that DLL file, it do not know how to respond and you get error message. When you get DLL error, the best solution is to just restore those DLL’s by just downloading or from original source.
Applications Install Problem
Whenever you have trouble installing some application, that maybe as your PC might not have enough Hard Disk space or maybe less than required RAM. If it is problem of space, then free up some Hard Disk space by deleting the useless files & folders or by using any cleaner software to remove temporary files, duplicate files tec. If it is the RAM problem, then add more RAM to system or you can use Hard Disk space as RAM by configuring the same in system properties.
Slowly Running Applications
There are many reasons that the software might be running at very slow speed. It could be the PC hardware or OS or maybe the application itself. To resolve the problem update the OS & other software’s, free up the Hard Disk space by scanning & cleaning useless data.
Applications Behaving Erratically
Lot of times the software’s & application in your PC starts behaving erratically, for example suddenly from the Word document you will find the top margin is missing, however when you try to put it back you get to know that it’s still there but you just cannot see it or you try to run an application but it won’t run, upon diagnosis you find its still there only the path has changed. To solve such problems, the best is to simply restart the PC, if it doesn’t solve then do a Google search for the problem and act accordingly. Also always keep a backup copy of all your software and OS, so if anything goes beyond the repair capacity, then you can simply restore the complete system back & get up running in no time.
